I Trained at the Royal Northern College of Music & I have been teaching singing for over 20years to great success. I have trained West End stars that have gone onto Broadway, Classical singers that are forging careers in Opera, Choral scholars for Universities ( Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Sherborne), I have students in National Youth Choir of Great Britain 7 Halle Youth Choirs. I have had since it’s conception Year after year get a place on the Prestigious Glyndebourne Academy & its Youth Academy. I teach singers involved with Preston Opera, Leeds Youth Opera & The City of Manchester Opera ( COMO ).My students are frequent winners of North West Music Festivals including The Alderley Edge Festival young singer of the year award. My students often gain entry to all the major UK music conservatoires & other colleges of drama, music & dance such as Arts.Ed. Central School, Mountview etc…..Students of mine have gone onto do T.V work such as Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice, BBC 1 “I can see your voice” & winner of ‘“ Over the Rainbow “With Andrew Lloyd Webber.
I offer 1-1 bespoke singing lessons in all genres of singing Opera, Classical, Musical Theatre, Choral, Folk, Pop & other modern techniques but I do focus on Italianate Classical vocal technique as the fundamentals.
I offer breathing techniques, language coaching, aural training & theory, help with auditions, concerts, competition work, ABRSM exams & other exam boards.
I also teach at AVR dance in Blackpool as a private singing teacher but I have worked in many schools over the years.
