Annette is a very experienced language tutor with a wonderful personality. I have been learning German from her for almost 2 years. I can truly say she is one of the best teachers I've ever had-and that is saying a lot considering I have a doctorate degree and have learned other languages in a classroom setting. Annette has to ability to hone in on a student's weakness to work on those skills and the ability to recognize their strengths. She does this all with a calming and gentle demeanor that both encourages you to work diligently and to also appreciate the gains made. She has worked with me on pronunciation, increasing my confidence to speak conversationally with native speakers, and remaining detail-oriented; so this is more of an immersive experience rather than a perfunctory attempt at a new language. I am truly grateful for my opportunity to learn from Annette.
