German and Spanish tutor, GSCE and A Level, or casual language learning

Hello!

My name is Alex. I have a BA in Applied Languages (German and Spanish) from the University of Portsmouth and a MSc in Translation Studies from the University of Edinburgh. In addition to tutoring, I work as a translator for an automotive manufacturer.

I studied German at GSCE and A Level - so I know what it is like to go through these exams. I've learnt a lot of tips and tricks a long the way and pass these onto my students to help them progress as quickly as possible.

I like to make sure that my lessons are well structured and have wide range of activities, making sure that everything is explained simply and thoroughly through real-world examples. I always make sure that we go at your pace. I am friendly and encouraging - I understand that making mistakes are part of the learning process!
