I have lived, studied and worked in Germany. In 2014, I completed a year abroad, studying translation at a university in Germany. In 2015, I completed an internship at a translation company in Freiburg.
I have also studied at a university in Madrid.
Qualified English as a Foreign Language teacher, Trinity CertTESOL - skills that I also apply to my German and Spanish teaching. I have taught English both privately and to groups of young learners in schools.

I've studied German at GCSE and A Level; so, I know what it takes to pass these exams.
I have and use a wide variety to texts and resources - this enables me to find topics that are relevant to the learner's need but is also engaging.
I like to give a clear breakdown of grammar so that it can be clearly understood and then encourage the learner to apply what they have learnt to topics and situations that interest them. This makes the lesson engaging, relevant and also means that the learner is more likely to remember and use what they have learnt in their school classes or in real life.
