I have taught English and EFL for over 25 years and can help you improve your written, oral, and listening skills at any level

I have a Ph.D. in linguistics and have been teaching at some level (mostly in higher education) for over 25 years.
I have taught both in the classroom and online and am comfortable delivering content in both settings.
Whether you are just beginning to learn English or are an advanced student who wants to become even more proficient, I have the experience, knowledge, as well as the right personality and attitude to help you.

My lessons can be very structured or more free-form depending on the level of the student and/or what they want to focus on. I have taught English composition, public speaking, phonetics and phonology (which can really help with pronunciation), and many other aspects of English and EFL.

I speak several other languages, including Russian, Spanish, and French, so I am familiar with other linguistic systems. This aspect is often overlooked by some people but it gives me a distinct advantage as an educator because it gives me a great deal of insight into how my students might be approaching English from their own perspective.

I consistently receive excellent ratings from my students, but I am always seeking to improve my pedagogical approach.
