My name is Sarah Botfield, and I have over twenty years experience of teaching pupils who require a different approach to learning. As part of my role, I work with individuals who require me to teach not only English but also English as an Additional language and also alternative curriculum both face to face and online. I am responsible for nearly fifty individuals who are neurodiverse and anxious and understand how to be patient and also more importantly to listen to them and work with them at a rate they are comfortable with, taking into account both good and bad days.

I have relevant qualifications, including a PGCE, Level 5 specialist teaching, a Masters in Special Education Needs / Additional Learning Needs and also a Masters in Dyscalculia and maths, also ADHD assessment training and ADHD in children course.

I enjoy working with neurodiverse individuals and I have twenty years experience of working with neurodiverse individuals, ensuring that all of individual needs are met and continually building up rapport with them.
