Karen’s main focus on teaching is to offer you sanctuary, whilst tailoring an immersive learning experience to you that you can access daily, and use as a lifelong resource in your relationships, work, studies
and personal life. Explorative creative ways
to move into action.In completing a number of training courses throughout her life in other health care modalities working with the mind-body, spirit, Her interests are in linguistics and the relational field of dance/movement/posture and how we operate as individuals and within groups in daily life. Karen is a mature mother, and holds a vast capacity for understanding the subtle ways in which the bodies intelligence holds, releases and creates new patterns, by using posture and communication we have access to a whole range of ways to feel new in every moment.
She brings to her classes a compassionate non-judgemental listening approach with warm humour and creativity.
She is trauma informed in how every body needs self regulation and co-regulation.
Classes are held in awareness of sensitivities to our nervous system how to soothe and strengthen resilience, build physical & mental strength, uncovering our unique qualities.
Her teachings come from life experience. She has an in-depth understanding of emotional health, response mechanisms verses reactivity & addiction.
She has a clear, direct and intuitive way of guiding and directing you towards self care, self knowledge and self discipline as well as opening up a whole range of motion to you for your actions in life.
Each moment is a clear new slate.
