Advert description
I have been tutoring music for over five years to students of all ages from complete beginners to advanced. I have a BMus Hons in composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (2018, 1:1) and MPhil in composition from the University of Oxford (2021, distinction). Alongside private tuition, I taught for four years at the Peterborough Centre for Young Musicians, lectured for the Trinity Laban Feminist Society, given Seminars to The Seminar for Composers of Oxford - Research and Development and presented my research in conference.
I have prepared and taken students through grade1-8 theory exams, aural training for grade 1-8 performance exams, GCSE and A Levels and university applications.
I have directed choirs of vary abilities (from children to professional adults) across the UK, given recitals and performed as a soloist for several years. I studied as a second-study singer throughout my degrees with Joan Rogers CBE and Cynthia Holman.
