Violin, viola and piano teacher, working with students from age 7 to adult learners

I teach violin, viola and piano to an intermediate level. I also teach theory lessons up to ABRSM Grade 5, and aural lessons for ABRSM exams.

I have 7 years experience as a private, peripatetic and whole class instrument teacher. I have taught students from 7 years old to adult learners. I enjoy teaching a wide range of genres and adapting my teaching to meet the needs of the student.

My lessons are student focused, so I will adapt lessons to fit the needs and aspirations of the individual learner.

I teach both with notation and by ear, depending on the style of music being taught. I teach ABRSM Grade exams, Suzuki method (violin) or a mixed approach depending on students’ needs.
