History tutor with dedication & passion

I am a History & Politics finalist at the University of Oxford and student journalist at Cherwell newspaper. I specialise in the Early Modern era and the history of North America, but have a breadth of knowledge & historical interests, and am equally passionate about history as a discipline. As a tutor, I can provide instruction on historical methods & techniques, close source analysis, historiographical frameworks, and other often-overlooked aspects of the subject. Students often find themselves disengaged from history as a subject due to poor teaching methods, and through bringing this passion to my activities as a tutor, I can help rekindle enthusiasm in people who find themselves struggling with poorly-presented or uninspiring material.

I am also experienced at readable, informative communicative writing, and help teach this invaluable skill to students as well.
