As an enthusiastic, creative, and devoted teacher I am applying for the online tutor position, I am seeking a position which will allow me to share and further develop my skills and talents and I can see FindTutors would be a great place to provide this opportunity. I believe that I would be a great fit for this role as I have experience working across EYFS, Year 1, EAL and currently hold the position of SEN coordinator. I am dedicated to teaching in a holistic manner, encouraging the children in my classroom to become lifelong learners who are curious and have ambition to achieve. Following my seven great years, as a primary school teacher both online and face to face as well as a special needs coordinator I am seeking new opportunities.
I am a graduate of Hope University, Liverpool, achieving a 2:2 Bachelor of Education with a specialism in Special educational needs. My studies focused on sociology and philosophy of education as well as diversity, disability and inclusive practice.
I have over 7 years of experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, EAL and SEN departments following the British National Curriculum. Throughout my time in Doha, I implemented changes to ensure that I am continually challenging myself and gaining valuable experience across different class levels. In my role as SEN coordinator, I have liaised with outside agencies to ensure that children are receive the utmost support in school.
I have developed and adapted my teaching style to cater for varying English language levels, educational needs, and abilities of the pupils in my classroom. I have created individual support plans for children with English as an additional language and provided resources to aid their learning whilst at home. I have experience in implementing Pie Corbett’s Talk-For-Writing, White Rose Math, Jolly Phonics frameworks to plan and teach engaging English speech and writing lessons. I am always keen to further my professional development and look forward forward to engaging with further training.
In addition to my experiences and qualifications, which I believe I demonstrate, I am highly organised and adaptable, with strong communications and interpersonal skills. I believe that my passion for teaching and sincere interest in encouraging pupils in my care to be independent, well-rounded, caring individuals who are confident.
