Over my 7 years working within Primary Education across EYFS, Year 1 and SEN departments, I have continuously been reminded of my passion for both teaching and people. I recognise that the children in my class are the leaders of the future and should be encouraged to develop resilience and ambition, whilst being supported to undertake new challenges. I am a confident and dedicated educator with a keen interest in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, planning differentiated lessons to meet all individuals needs and allowing children the space to become independent learners. I have developed and adapted my teaching style to cater for varying English language levels, educational needs, abilities of the pupils in my classroom, and also online teaching through the pandemic. I have created individual support plans for children with English as an additional language and provided resources to aid their learning whilst at home. I have experience in implementing Pie Corbett’s Talk-For-Writing, White Rose Math, Jolly Phonics frameworks to plan and teach engaging English speech and writing lessons, ensuring to include visual and engaging techniques.
