Let's learn Korean with a certificated actual teacher at the Korean school in UK

I have been learning Korean weekly with Mia for 2 years, and during that time I have learned so much thanks to Mia's thoughtful and patient way of teaching. She puts so much effort into preparation for each lesson so it feels like a personalised experience which really has helped my Korean improve so much from a complete beginner to intermediate level. And thanks to her, I could confidently visit Korea twice and converse with locals in Korean. And this year I will go to Korea for a year long working holiday, which is something I couldn't do without Mia's fantastic teaching! Every lesson with her has been very enjoyable and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Korean at any level!

I really recommend Mia if you are looking for a Korean tutor! I wasn’t sure of my ability at first as I have only ever studied Korean independently but Mia was able to help find a starting point for us and prepared classes/study material which is at my ability. I am really enjoying my classes and I find it useful that she sets homework for me to study in my own time. My Korean ability is definitely improving and I look forward to continuing my classes!

Mia is an excellent teacher, my Korean knowledge has improved so much within just a few classes thanks to her. She is very knowledgeable and friendly, so every class is very informative and a lot of fun.And outside of classes, she will send a lot of useful materials on anything I need more help with, homework to help improve my skills and helpful information to prepare for the next class.Mia will make sure I am confident enough with each stage before moving onto the next, and she is very patient and will carefully explain any corrections when I make mistakes, which is something I appreciate a lot. Mia works really hard to prepare every lesson, tailoring it to the individual student's needs, so it's a pleasure to study with her. Our lessons are a mix of reading, listening and comprehension, grammar, pronunciation and conversation. I am really keen on learning Korean and do my best, but honestly I can be hard work and I wouldn't want to be my teacher! haha However, Mia is always very professional, patient and the same time cheerful. If you study with her, she will encourage you and motivate you to do your best. Highly recommended!

I have been a student of Mia’s since April 2022. I have to say she has been an excellent tutor for me. I started from knowing only the Korean alphabet to now having conversational Korean. Mia expects you to work hard and manages to help you remember the Korean language by repetition and having an ordered learning program. She is an experienced tutor and will adjust her teaching techniques to try and help you learn. Homework is always given and short tests are used to consolidate your knowledge. I highly recommend her.
