Bill you were always a good teacher.... Ok biology was never my strong point but I did enjoy the class lol. Please don't let these findings over the past 12 months deter you in any why what so ever.... I know that we have not kept in contact but you were and still are a role model for all you taught.

Suhail Shafi Mr Bowring was incredibly popular amongst the students and had a no nonsense, matter of factly approach towards teaching. I was impressed by his way with the students and how much they liked him, given that I never fit in with the others at OCS.

Mr bowring.... hope you are great....my name is akbar. And I was your student ?￢ﾀﾍ?...in Libya...u taught us physics... it's not the subject you taught, it's the way you taught that no one ever forgot you....u were the best by far...your advise on smoking and its effect, the way you made us run up and down the stairs to check the heart rate, or when you always used to say, two wrong answers on different sheets meant cheating, it was my last year, O-levels and then I left for india after studying in Libya for 7 years, I remember when I said good bye to you, you asked where in india are you from, I said central India and you laughed and said where, giving me the impression that you just might turn up one day....you left an indelible impression on me, today I am heading the learning and development function in a company at dubai... and so much of what I do is an extension of your values... I do hope you are great and look forward to meeting you one day...
