Very experienced history teacher. Achieved excellent GCSE and A Level results across all main exam boards

I have been teaching History and other humanities subjects for more than 25 years. I have taught in the Middle East and China as well as in the UK for more than 10 years. I have achieved some outstanding results at GCSE and A Level, one of my students achieved the best A Level result in China last year. I teach online and face to face, adopting a highly interactive and supportive approach that caters directly to the individual needs of my students in order to get the best results from them. My success comes from my years of education and practical teaching experience, but also my understanding of the talents and needs of my students, which i place at the heart of my lesson planning. I have experience of teaching History from Key Stage 2 to A Level, including both UK based and international exam courses, Sociology and Politics at GCSE and A Level and geography at Key Stage 3 and would be happy to deliver any of these courses as a private tutor.
