I am resourceful, empathetic, imaginative, hardworking and dedicated to the idea of empowering people through education and constructive support at all levels. My varied skill set is all based on communication, listening and understanding. I have experience in mentoring roles and training in Counselling. I have worked extensively in post-16 education such as Access courses, as well as at A-level, Philosophy, History, and Archaeology, both in colleges and the community. I am a student-focused educator and believe that encouraging and supporting my students is every bit as important as delivering the curriculum.
I have extensive Personal and Academic Mentoring and Coaching experience. I also have experience as a volunteer crisis counsellor for young people and I have training in Emotional Coaching, and Counselling Skills, and extensive training in Mental Health and Safeguarding.
