I am a native Chinese speaker and an experienced teacher on Chinese language and ESOL English. I speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. I am a qualified Chinese language and ESOL teacher with 7 years of experience, GCSE Chinese language examiner and holder of PGCE Secondary Mandarin with QTS, Master of TESOL an Applied Linguistics, BA (Hons) TESOL and Mandarin Chinese and CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). I am specialised in teaching languages and in supporting students with GCSE and A Levels exam preparations. I have tutored over 200 students in the past. I have a huge passion for language teaching. I love helping my students progress and achieve their learning objectives as well as supporting their academic, intellectual and personal development.

Key areas of my expertise include planning and teaching lessons in both ESOL English and Chinese language, course design and development as well as language learning activities for students from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds. I teach both Chinese language and ESOL English on listening, speaking, reading and writing at different levels and age ranges as well as daily conversation. My lesson includes a various of interactive activities which allow students to show active involvement in the learning process to absorb the maximum amount of information and knowledge from the lessons. I make good use of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLILI) to enrich students with a knowledge and understanding of culture and languages.
