I have 2+ years experience as an SEN teaching assistant. My work is focused on delivering maths, English and science concepts to neurodiverse/ disabled children aged 5-16. The nature of my job means I've learned to tailor lessons to each individual's needs. This involves finding out what their problem areas are, (eg. concepts/ topics, exam prep, problem solving skills) then teaching them multiple strategies that they can choose from when completing tasks.
