Practical help with Key Stage 3 and G.S.C.E Mathematics

I have a first degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and have experience of fast-tracking your learning of Mathematics. I have experience of tutoring students who have difficulties with learning and who have fallen behind and are struggling to catch up.

I have, for example, tutored someone in Year 10 who was predicted to achieve grade 4. He ended up doing his G.C.S.E Mathematics in Year 10, one year early, and achieved a grade 6.

If you are struggling with Mathematics and have fallen behind, please do not despair, as you can improve your grades from 3 to a 9 in a relatively short time by practicing questions and getting the support you need.

I genuinely believe that ANYONE can do well in Mathematics and do not think you have to be particularly clever, although you have to put the effort in.

I will introduce you to free online resources to help speed up the learning process and I am very flexible in terms of the teaching style, taking into account your particular needs.

Our goal is to be at least one step ahead of your school's schedule so that the lessons in school become revision classes as opposed to learning for the first time. Repetition is key to mastering Mathematics and Science and if you manage to go ahead of the school lessons then you will develop more confidence in the subject and will impress fellow students.

I am particularly good at explaining complex topics using simple language and simple examples.
