Advert description
I have been a professional musician from the early 2000's from when I formed a band at Telford New College where I was studying a BTEC National Diploma in Pop music (Distinction) I then went on to study a degree in Music Production at Leeds College Of Music in which was cut short in year two when my band was signed to a London management agency whom went on to source a record deal with Sony Worldwide.
I have toured the world and released 4 studio albums. I have extensive knowledge of the music industry and also music production. I have worked in some of the biggest and best recording studios in the UK. I now have a home studio in Manchester where I am working on solo material and would love the opportunity to teach and pass on my knowledge of playing musical instruments and music production (Bass, Keyboards, Guitar, Synthesisers and computer production to the younger generation.
Theory lessons would include the basics of the instrument for example chord structures, circle of 5ths, melody, harmony, rhythm etc
History of music would involve learning about the development of pop music through the decades including how instruments changed and improved as well as recording equipment.
Practical lessons would include using a Digital Audio workstation to record performances of student playing their instruments and building on ideas to create layers, sound design and song structures.
By the end of a string of lessons and tutoring the aim will be for the student to take a way a finished production (song) that will be theirs to keep.
