Matt Gwilt

I have been a professional musician from the early 2000's from when I formed a band at Telford New College where I was studying a BTEC National Diploma in Pop music (Distinction) I then went on to study a degree in Music Production at Leeds College Of Music in which was cut short in year two when my band was signed to a London management agency whom went on to source a record deal with Sony Worldwide.

I have toured the world and released 4 studio albums. I have extensive knowledge of the music industry and also music production. I have worked in some of the biggest and best recording studios in the UK. I now have a home studio in Manchester where I am working on solo material and would love the opportunity to teach and pass on my knowledge of playing musical instruments (Bass, Keyboards, Guitar, Synthesisers and computer production to the younger generation.

Lessons would include using a Digital Audio workstation to record performances of student playing their instruments and building on ideas to create layers, sound design and song structures.
