Empathetic and Effective Phonics/Structured Literacy Tutor for ALL ages

Hi all!

My name is Kyra and I have worked the last year as a Literacy Tutor in New Zealand at a secondary school. I also have extensive childcare/nannying experience. I'm based in Central Manchester.

I worked with many students (aged 11 to 18) who severely struggled with reading, writing, spelling, comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. I worked with students with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other SEND needs. I assessed each student to identify their learning gaps then tailored each lesson to helped to greatly improve each student's literacy.

I have an enhanced DBS check and have been trained in two structured literacy programmes, one for adults/adolescence, and another for kindergarten/primary aged students.
