18 Years Experience MATHS ENGLISH KS1/KS2 11+ SEND PHONICS READING

I have been teaching since 2006 and have taught full time across both Key Stage 1 and 2.

Reflecting on my own teaching experiences I have worked at a range of schools in London, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

From outstanding schools to schools that required improvement, I have taken something from each school and added it to my teacher toolkit. I have also been fortunate enough to work in schools of faith, multi-cultural and village schools. It has been an immensely valuable teaching experience that has certainly shaped my professional outlook and provided me with a rich insight into what you can achieve with children.

My enthusiasm for the teaching still remains positive and my teaching journey has put me in a position where I wish to make a meaningful difference to children’s lives.

In all schools I have worked in, my lessons have been judged ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’.

I encourage children to become independent by implementing growth mindset. I have found children to have become resilient and not afraid of tackling new concepts or new challenges
