About me:

Recently relocated to Dublin, I am looking to continue my passion to improve student's language proficiencies.

Qualifications: I have a distinction in O level English, with a Distinction in for my university studies where I attained a Bachelor's in Social Science with double majors in Political Science and Public Policy from Singapore Management University.

Experience: I have five years of experience as a civil servant crafting, editing and proofreading documents for assessment reports to Singaporean policymakers. I had tutored students for O level English in my spare time.


MY Methodology:

Student's ability:

1. Firstly, I would assess the student's language proficiency, assessing the student's speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

2. Secondly, I would track student's development in grammar and vocabulary usage, while actively expanding their vocabulary usage and improving their sentence structures.

3. Thirdly, I strongly encourage active student participation and engagement during lessons. I strive to create a positive learning atmosphere for all students.

Lesson Planning and Preparation:

Fourthly, I will ensure that lessons align with students' goals and the appropriate curriculum, whether it's for exams, or general language learning.

Time Management:

Additionally, I will ensure lessons are completed within the allotted time without rushing or dragging.


Lastly, I commit to staying updated with the latest teaching methods and language trends. I will use many forms of teaching materials, be it videos and engaging content from my research. My materials will be from respectable databases which has enriched my own learning in languages.
