About me:

Recently relocated to Dublin, I am looking to continue my passion to improve student's language proficiencies.

Qualifications: I have a distinction in O level English, with a Distinction in for my university studies where I attained a Bachelor's in Social Science with double majors in Political Science and Public Policy.

Experience: I have five years of experience as a civil servant crafting, editing and proofreading documents for assessment reports to Singaporean policymakers. I had tutored students for O level English in my spare time.



Methodology:

Student's ability:

1. Firstly, I would assess the student's language proficiency, assessing the student's speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

2. Secondly, I would track student's development in grammar and vocabulary usage, while actively expanding their vocabulary usage and improving their sentence structures.

3. Thirdly, I strongly encourage active student participation and engagement during lessons. I strive to create a positive learning atmosphere for all students.

Lesson Planning and Preparation:

Fourthly, I will ensure that lessons align with students' goals and the appropriate curriculum, whether it's for exams, or general language learning.


Time Management:

Additionally, I will ensure lessons are completed within the allotted time without rushing or dragging.


Lastly, I commit to staying updated with the latest teaching methods and language trends. I will use many forms of teaching materials, be it videos and engaging content. My materials will be from respectable databases which has enriched my own learning in languages.
