Advert description
I achieved a 9 in history GCSE and A* in A-level, and am currently studying it at the University of Cambridge. I am able to shape the sessions entirely around the student's primary goals and learning style, adapting it to ensure productivity and genuine understanding.
A significant focus for many can be exam technique and memorisation methods which I will thoroughly cover. I recently sat my history A-Level and know first-hand how difficult the mark scheme can be, so I will focus on what I believe to be key content areas and methods of writing to ensure optimal results. It is important to find the excitement in history to make the information stick, so I will focus on ensuring my students feel fully engaged in the content we cover.
I am very personable and can communicate well with a range of ages and people, having extensive experience both in tutoring online and volunteering as an assistant in primary and secondary schools. I greatly enjoy working with people, and am sure I am able to liven and spread my passion for history to my students!
