Having recently sat and achieved the highest grades in both GCSE and A-Level History and Biology, I know all the tips and tricks necessary for success with the most recent syllabi and mark-scheme.

I ensure to cover all basics first - simple content, methodology, and understanding of broader themes and areas of significance. From here I will work with the student to produce a list of priority areas which we will cover as efficiently as possible within the time frame allocated. Having recently undertaken and scored highly in both GCSEs and A-levels (all 9s and A*s), I have first-hand understanding of the current syllabi and how to break down the relevant topics.

A very important aspect of exams are technique and methodology, which I have come to understand deeply. I can help show my student easier and more efficient ways of conceptualising and memorising information, and not just provide my own exam techniques, but help them find whatever is most personally efficient.

I still have all my GCSE and A-level notes for all topics I tutor in and am happy to provide students with revision material and questions for them to practice themselves. Providing such materials in a session enables me to set students tasks between meetings to be reviewed in the following session in order to ensure proper engagement and understanding of material.

I have extensive experience with tutoring online, and have volunteered as an assistant in both a primary and secondary school, so am able to efficiently communicate and work with a range of ages.
