University of Cambridge Graduate - Friendly and Enthusiastic Maths Tutor for KS3, GCSE, A-Level, and University Admissions

Advert description
Hello! I'm Lucien. Since graduating with a first in mathematics from the University of Cambridge, I've been offering engaging and supportive maths tutoring for Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level maths as well as university admissions assessments (STEP, MAT, TMUA, ESAT). Throughout this time, I've refined my teaching methods to address common challenges, boost student confidence, and prepare them for both classroom assessments and final exams.

Every student is unique, with distinct goals, learning styles, and responsibilities, and I believe lesson plans should reflect this diversity.

The most effective learning comes from active engagement and facing challenges, which is how most lessons will be designed. I aim to encourage independent thinking and tackling difficult problems now to make future challenges easier. These could be past exam questions, your own queries, or materials I provide to push your limits, tailored to your learning style.

Whether you aim to move up a set, gain confidence, take higher-level exam papers, secure a solid pass, or achieve top grades for studying a STEM subject at university, I'm here to assist.

For online lessons, I use an iPad and Apple Pencil which allows students to see my handwriting in real-time and will take place via Microsoft Teams. If you're unsure about trying online lessons, I encourage you to give it a chance. For face-to-face lessons, I’m able to provide tuition at the student's home in the West London area.
