In the first lesson, I'll aim to gauge the strengths and weaknesses of the student. This is a crucial as it enables me to adapt how I teach to fit individual learning styles and abilities.

In further lessons, I'll focus on a particular topic which the student could improve upon. I like to do this in an interactive way, frequently asking questions, encouraging curiosity and helping guide the student rather than just leading them directly to all the answers.

For online lessons, I have a iPad and Apple Pencil which allows students to see my handwriting in real-time.

I have experience in providing friendly and enthusiastic one-to-one tuition in maths at GCSE and A-Level, both in person and online.

I've always loved helping others. Throughout my school years I would frequently assist my peers with maths, and even volunteered to help out in lower years' maths classrooms during my free periods of sixth form. After graduating university providing one-to-one maths tuition was the perfect way to carry on supporting others in their mathematical journey.

Outside of maths, I'm also a passionate musician with extensive experience in both studio and live performance settings. This has honed my creativity, communication, and adaptability - qualities that make me both engaging and relatable.
