Advert description
I have a First-Class Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Theology (Joint Honours), which I obtained from the University of Nottingham in 2019. I was also awarded the University's David Garlick Prize, for my performance in one of the modules. I then completed my Master's degree in Global Ethics and Human Values at King's College London, wherein I obtained a Distinction in 2021. I am now doing my PhD in Humanities and Social Science at the University of Brighton, at the Centre for Applied Philosophy, Politics and Ethics.
I am looking to tutor A-Level and undergraduate students in Philosophy; I can help you to better understand the subject matter in Philosophy of Mind, Political Philosophy, Ethics, Epistemology, Metaphysics, and a variety of other areas of Philosophy. We will work through essay questions together, and engage in discussions to broaden your mind and encourage different ways of thinking about these questions. Ultimately, Philosophy is all about questioning the world and thinking independently, and my tutoring sessions will aim to foster that approach, while enabling you to confidently answer the questions that you are presented with on your course, and equipping you with the knowledge to do so. My sessions will be enjoyable, as we will discuss the relevant philosophical topics at length, and I will challenge you to really think through these issues and develop your own well-supported perspectives and arguments.
