Teacher of History, English and English ELS. Degrees and DBS checked

Having worked in education for 15 years, I currently work as a remote English teacher. I have an enhanced DBS.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in TESOL Origins and Methods (graduating Cum Laude); with TESOL as my major and Primary Education being my minor.
At present, I am working towards my second degree in History (honours) through The Open University as a second year student.
I have always had a love of history, especially ancient Mediterranean history such as, the Greco Roman and Egyptian periods. But more recently have found European history as a whole quite fascinating.
I believe History is an important subject as it created our past and can change our future.
History and English classes are well planned to provide students with the support they need to consolidate their learning and confidently approach exams.
During English ESL classes, I use different subject mediums ranging from English (Language and Literature), Humanities, Art and Sciences, therefore I am adaptable in my teaching styles and methods.
Comprehensive feedback is provided if needed, but verbal praise and feedback during class is always given.
As students learn at different paces and in different ways, I use additional materials to reinforce and consolidate learning. As well as use fun class quizzes to identify areas where students need further support.
My ethos has always been to inspire students to allow them to reach their full potential.
