Having worked in education for 15 years, I currently work as a remote English teacher.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in TESOL Origins and Methods (graduating Cum Laude); with TESOL as my major and Primary Education being my minor.
At present, I am working towards my second degree in History (honours) through The Open University as a second year student.
I have always had a love of history, especially ancient Mediterranean history such as, the Greco Roman and Egyptian periods.
In my classes I use different subject mediums to teach my students ranging from English (Language and Literature), Humanities, Art and Sciences, so am adaptable in my teaching styles and methods.
As students learn at different paces and in different ways, I use additional materials to reinforce and consolidate their learning. As well as use fun class quizzes to identify areas where students need further support.
My ethos has always been to inspire students to allow them to reach their full potential.
I believe History is an important subject as it created our past and can change our future.
