Not only do I focus on exam technique, but also retention and memory techniques; I believe it's at the secret to excelling in exam settings - it's how I achieved mostly 8s & 9s in my GCSEs, and am predicted 4 A*s at A-Level, having applied to Oxford University. I always see significant academic progress in my tutees, even after only a few sessions, because I don't simply explain the answer to a question, but how to answer it, and then how to translate these skills into an exam setting.
