Science and Maths Tutor (Oxford Graduate)

Hi! I'm an Oxford University biochemistry graduate looking for students to tutor in science and maths. I have been a tutor for several years, over which I have taught students aged 8 - 18 in science and maths.

I like to tailor my lesson plans to each student and whatever they may be finding difficult. Consistently engaging with the syllabus and past papers is essential at GCSE and A Level, but in addition to this it is incredibly important to encourage students to think flexibly and thoroughly understand the fundamental concepts rather than simply memorising facts. It can also be useful to contextualise knowledge taught in school and occasionally explore its wider applications, as I find this leads to a deeper understanding of the subject.
