Qualified Maths teacher with 17 years experience in teaching GCSE and IGCSE curriculum following uk exam boards

I work in building a positive learning environment for the learner. Maths is a subject which if not taught properly can make a child hate the subject and build a phobia of the subject. The approach I take is building up on knowledge they have developed at early stage of their life and linking topics to prior learning and relate it to real life if possible.

I am very passionate about the subject I teach and I try and inspire the learner to continue and explore the subject beyond GCSE and A level.

The learner needs to feel a sense of accomplishment and feel they are confident in what they have done in very short space.
