Qualified History teacher with 5+ years tutoring experience; University of Oxford (BA) and UCL (MA)

I am a qualified History teacher through the competitive Teach First training programme, with one year of experience teaching at a secondary school in South London. I balanced full-time teaching of History and RE lessons (20+ teaching hours/week) with full-time study towards achieving QTS and a PGCE.

By planning and delivering engaging lessons, implementing creative approaches to build pupil motivation, and consistently adapting to meet individual pupil needs, I have delivered strong end-of-year results as a teacher and supported pupils to achieve their desired grades as a tutor.

I am available to tutor in-person and online. As a History tutor, I can specialise in content (I am familiar with the Edexcel, AQA, and WJEC boards) or essay writing and exam technique. I also have experience tutoring English and Maths (KS3, GCSE) and Geography (KS3, GCSE, A-Level).
