The most important way for anyone to trust you, including a student, is to listen. I will make sure they know our lessons are a safe place to ask questions and fully open about what they do and do not understand. I believe learning is an active experience for both parties. We will have a PowerPoint presentation followed by a time for us to actually talk about what we’ve learned and what they would like me to explain more.
