Oxford Classics and English graduate with over 5 years of experience

I combine my academic background, 5 years of tutoring experience and love of learning to channel this energy into my pupils. I have a proven track record of improving the grades of my students, particularly for those taking their GCSEs. I love teaching from KS2 right through to A-Level and am always learning from my students!

As an Oxford student I gained valuable insight into the benefit of 1-1 teaching and felt supported and uplifted by my tutors. This is now something I try and replicate in my own teaching as I believe everyone benefits from a bespoke environment to learn in.

My lessons are usually between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on age and the desired outcome of the session. I will work with you to ensure we get the most out of our time together - whether it be teaching content or more tailored exam practice. One of my most popular services is an essay workshop, where I help revise an existing essay of a student or help plan a new one from scratch. For younger students, I focus on making English fun, and tailor lessons to their interests.

I can also help with Oxbridge preparation, personal statement writing and CV reworking.

Past students have enjoyed my sessions and often stay with me for a sustained period of time - usually over a year. I love building these relationships and seeing confidence grow and look forward to working with you!
