Maths tutor for primary and secondary level

Over the last three years I have successfully guided students from years 7 to 11 in a range of abilities through their school years and up to their GCSE exams. I am adept at tailoring my lessons and teaching methods to different learning styles, ensuring that each student is able to grasp the learning concept. My ability to simplify mathematical concepts and to approach them in practical and fun ways has resulted in significant improvements in the results of the students I have worked with.
I have a masters in finance but I have also worked in creative industries and like to use creative methods in my teaching.
What excites me about tutoring is getting to really see the week to week progress of an individual student and to keep adapting my teaching to challenge the student to accomplish their goals. I like to foster a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and approach challenges with confidence.
