Over the last three years I have been teaching in schools in London and Bristol and have successfully guided students from years 7 to 11 in a range of abilities through their school years and up to their GCSE exams. I am adept at tailoring my lessons and teaching methods to different learning styles, ensuring that each student is able to grasp the learning concept. My ability to simplify mathematical concepts and to approach them in practical and fun ways has resulted in significant improvements in the results of the students I have worked with. What excites me about tutoring is getting to really see the week to week progress of an individual student and to keep adapting my teaching to challenge the student to accomplish their goals. I like to foster a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and approach challenges with confidence. My lifelong love of learning can be seen in the range of skills and experiences I have, and my background in artistic and mathematical industries has helped me when teaching to a wide range of learners. I believe in structure and consistency but also value taking opportunities to include every learner by using practical methods to teach when necessary. I take on responsibility for learning and always aim to inspire and motivate my students by showing them my own enthusiasm for learning. I would love to meet you and help you nail your exams! My aim is for students to enjoy their tutorials whilst also learning and improving.
