London based Secondary English Teacher with 6 years experience as a tutor in English, with an emphasis on EAL and Dyslexia

I am a recently qualified Secondary English Teacher working in Outstanding (Ofsted, 2022 ) MAT all-through school in North West London. I have four years experience working in schools, both as an LSA and as a teacher, and 6 years experience as a tutor of English, Primary Maths, and Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. My experience, education, and empathy, having struggled with Dyslexia myself, make me a highly effective educator, both 1-1 and within a classroom setting. I have a further three years experience working in Speech Writing and Communications for a leading UK company in which I further developed my passion and understanding of my subject, not only as an art and academic discipline, but as an integral professional skill. I am a natural and effective communicator with the ability to tailor communication to a specific audience and build credible relationships quickly. I am intellectually curious and able to confer this spirit of enquiry upon those I teach.
