My lesson structure is consistent and effective. I begin by outlying the lesson objectives so the students are clear on what they should be able to do by the end. I try to alternate engaging exercises, such as going through an exercise together, with more formal explanations of basic concepts for a well-rounded session. Finally, I like to test the student towards the end of the lesson to check understanding and go over the harder topics.
This structure has allowed me to adapt teaching to any subject and has resulted in positive outcomes for all my students.
