International master with 10+ years coaching experience is looking for interested students (kids and adults)!

Advert description
International master since 2012.

From 2016 to 2020, I managed my own offline chess school, which was attended by about 120 children (until the pandemic started).
Since September 2020 I've been coaching online.

I have a pedagogical education and experience teaching at a university.

Student results:
- a lot of champions and oher medalists of the children's championships of Russian regions;
- winners of the stages of the Children Russia Cup;
- silver medalist of Berlin under 8.

As an organizer and chief arbiter, I have conducted more than 100 local and regional offline tournaments.

I am the creator of a unique teaching methodology that I use during the training process. The lessons are aimed at the proportional development of the student's skills according to their playing level (tactics, strategy, endgame, opening), and they only include knowledge relevant for upcoming competitions.

I teach understanding of chess strategy based on the original rules, which are the keys to the correct play in positions of a certain type.

In my opinion, the opening is not a set of variations with evaluations, but working schemes based on deep positional ideas that we study by analyzing exemplary games of masters and grandmasters.

I am working on eliminating blunders in the games of my students, using my own antiblunder puzzle base, which helps the students to significantly reduce the number of blunders in their games.

For each student, I create an individual plan for independent work on chess, taking into account their goals and other commitments. Each week, there is checking the implementation of the plan and its adjustment.

In individual lessons, we:
1) analyze the student's important games. I draw their attention to the key moments of the game where they made strategic mistakes. All mistakes are recorded in a special spreadsheet, to which the student has constant access to review the material;
2) based on the first part of the lesson, I choose the optimal direction of work (strategy theory, endgame, opening variations, etc.) and we work it out in order to eliminate the similar mistakes in the future.
