ABOUT ME
From 2016 to 2020, I ran my own offline chess school, which had about 120 children. In September 2020, I switched to an online format, abandoning organizational work in favor of developing my own teaching methods.

My approach to teaching is based on a special algorithm for studying theoretical material structured by topic and complexity. Based on the current level and mistakes of the student, we will address various theoretical issues in the optimal order. We will study problem areas using additional databases of positional puzzles and training positions.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

✅ a lot of champions and oher medalists of the children's championships of Russian regions;
✅ winners of the stages of the Children Russia Cup;
✅ silver medalist of Berlin under 8.

BEST SKILLS
I teach understanding of chess strategy based on the original rules, which are the keys to the correct play in positions of a certain type.

In my opinion, the opening is not a set of variations with evaluations, but working schemes based on deep positional ideas that we study by analyzing key games of masters and grandmasters.

I am working on eliminating blunders in the games of my students, using my own antiblunder puzzle database, which helps the students to significantly reduce the number of blunders in their games.

International Master since 2012.
Best results:
✅ multiple-time youth champion of the Saratov region (Russia);
✅ bronze medalist of the Russian Championship among students and postgraduates as part of the Saratov State Socio-Economic University team in 2006 and 2008;
✅ winner of the international masters tournament, Russia, 2009.

OTHER EXPERIENCES
As an organizer and chief arbiter, I have conducted more than 100 local and regional offline tournaments.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The typical structure of our lesson:
✅checking homework (positional puzzles or training games with a sparring partner);
✅analysis of the student's recent games and fixing the mistakes in the form of diagrams in a special spreadsheet (by means of an own script);
✅theoretical part (based on the frequent mistakes): a thematic structured block of rules and typical positions; interactive analysis of an exemplary game; studying of the opening variation;
✅"antiblunder" puzzles or positional puzzles;
