I uniquely draw on my creative skills to engage and encourage critical thinking and ownership of ideas and methodology in English and Sociology teaching, respectively.

Since 2016 as a TalentEd English tutor, in-person & online my creative approach engages students to play with words/language and enhance their study/revision skills for maximum impact in their GCSEs.

As Director of WAPPY - the award-winning creative expressions group for young people I founded in 2008 ( In workshops members become confident writers, speakers, and authors.

I am published in 24 collections and edited the Arts Council-funded anthology, ‘Wonderful World of WAPPY: 10 Years of Inspirational Writing and Art by Over 100 Young Contributors’ (2018).

In addition to English, I can also offer Sociology GCSE & A Level (AQA)Sociology tuition, having had over 30 experience of this subject ‘A’ Level, and once held an Associate Lecturer in Culture, Media & Identities post with the Open University.
