As a holder of a TEFL certificate, and averaging a first class honours in my bachelors, I am fully prepared to help teach english!

I have undergone a 120 hour TEFL course that equips me with the skills necessary to teach young children and professional adults English as a foreign language. I have worked alongside many different ethnicities and cultures, both in Hong Kong and central London, enabling me to navigate different cultural differences regarding learning English as a second language. Alongside this, I have won academic prizes nationally for my creative writing abilities and in the analysis of English literature: skills I would be thrilled to teach students.

My lesson plans incorporate various strategies to ensure success. I focus on vocabulary expansion through interactive activities like flashcards and word association games. I promote contextual usage through discussions and creative writing exercises.

Grammar lessons include targeted practice through gap-filling, sentence transformation, and error correction. I provide clear explanations and support for learners of all proficiency levels.

Listening comprehension is enhanced through audio and video materials, followed by comprehension questions and note-taking exercises. Speaking activities encourage confident oral communication with pronunciation drills and recorded models.

Reading skills are developed through engaging texts, accompanied by comprehension tasks and critical thinking activities. Writing skills are nurtured through different genres, guiding students through the writing process with constructive feedback.
