In my lesson plans, I prioritise a variety of teaching strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes. To enhance vocabulary acquisition, I employ interactive activities such as flashcards and word association games, allowing students to actively engage with new words and reinforce their retention. By incorporating discussions, role plays, and creative writing exercises, I encourage learners to contextualize and apply newly acquired vocabulary, fostering their language production skills.

Recognising the importance of grammar, I design targeted lessons that offer extensive practice opportunities. Through exercises like gap-filling, sentence transformation, and error correction, students develop a solid understanding of grammar rules while actively engaging in language manipulation. I believe in providing clear explanations and scaffolding techniques to support learners at different proficiency levels, enabling them to grasp complex grammatical concepts effectively.

I strongly emphasise listening comprehension skills through the use of audio and video materials. By incorporating songs, movie clips, and recorded dialogues, I create an immersive environment that enhances learners' ability to understand spoken English. Additionally, I integrate comprehension questions, discussion prompts, and note-taking exercises to foster critical thinking and active engagement during listening tasks.

Having recognised the significance of oral communication, I design speaking activities that encourage learners to express themselves confidently. Pair work, group discussions, and debates allow students to practice their speaking skills in a supportive environment. Furthermore, I incorporate pronunciation drills, tongue twisters, and recorded models to improve their pronunciation accuracy and fluency.

To develop reading skills, I select engaging reading passages that align with students' interests and proficiency levels. Accompanied by comprehension questions, vocabulary exercises, and critical thinking tasks, these texts encourage learners to analyse and comprehend written English effectively.

Moreover, I place great emphasis on nurturing writing skills. By introducing various writing genres, such as essays, letters, and narratives, I guide students through the writing process step-by-step. Through brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and editing, learners gain confidence in expressing their thoughts in written form. I provide constructive feedback, enabling students to refine their writing skills and develop a strong written expression.

As a teacher, my dedication extends beyond lesson planning. I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, where each student's unique learning needs are addressed. By regularly assessing student progress and providing individualised feedback, I ensure continuous improvement and success.
