Graduated in English at the University of Cambridge and have been teaching students for 5 years

I teach using visual and demonstrative aids such as interactive handouts and PowerPoints. After each lesson, either a short task or homework assignment is set, and this work is reviewed at the beginning of each session. Outside of tutoring hours, I am available to answer any questions via email.

I have an amazing success rate, as currently two of my past A-level students are studying English literature at the University of Cambridge. My younger students have been recognised with reading and comprehension awards from their local schools, and of my three GCSE students, all improved by at least two grades.

As a student of a minority background and a lower-socio economic class, I understand the importance of education for levelling the playing field. With this understanding, I have had huge educational success, achieving a grade point average of 7.9 at GCSE and three A*s at A-level. I have practised and taught the methods that have led to these achievements and I am confident that you, like many other students, will improve greatly under my tutelage. I am highly motivated and invested in the education of all my students and this always reflects in their grades.
