Grade 8+ Guitar Teacher Based In East London

I've been playing guitar for roughly 10-12 years. I've taught a few good 1 on 1 sessions with children of friends as well as some private people that have approached me on various platforms.

I teach ranging from the very basics of chords and chord progressions through to scales and modes.

I'd start teaching depending on where I can gauge the users individual skill level from novice to advanced.

I'll always start with chords and musical notes. Without these, you could not write a song and give the building blocks of music across any instrument. Fundamentally.

Moving onto the pentatonic minor, minor and major scales. From there, I'd then ask the student what it is they'd like to learn. What they're into and help them build on that.
