I am suitable for the role of an English tutor due to my diverse range of experiences and skills. Firstly, I volunteered at my local library for the children’s reading challenge which gave me an insight into being part of a workforce. I was given responsibilities of making sure people’s information was kept safe and providing everyone with the right instructions to the challenge. This strengthened my communication skills as well as broadening my horizon of different backgrounds due to being exposed to different people which is essential in being tutor as you are constantly exposed to students from many cultures. Furthermore, my involvement in a school netball tournament enhanced my teamwork skills due to working alongside my peers to win the game. This is an essential attribute when having to collaborate with students effectively. As a result, I believe I would be a suitable tutor and I have the skills to get my point across and lead to a better understanding of the English subject for students.
