Advert description
As an enthusiastic Geography tutor currently pursuing a Master's in Mining Geology at the University of Exeter, I offer comprehensive lessons in Geography for students at various levels. My academic journey includes a BSc in Earth and Planetary Sciences, with Geology and Physical Geography from the University of Manchester, where I achieved a 2:1 degree classification. Additionally, I have excelled in Geography at A-level, securing a grade A.
In my classes, I strive to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. Lessons are a blend of informative presentations, discussions on real-world geographical issues, and hands-on activities like map analysis and case study evaluations. I emphasise the application of theory to current events, helping students connect textbook knowledge to what's happening in the world today.
For younger students or those new to the subject, I focus on building a strong foundation with fun and interactive sessions, gradually moving to more complex concepts. For more advanced students, such as those at A Level or university, I delve into in-depth analysis and critical thinking exercises, preparing them for exams and academic research.
Regardless of the level, my aim is to foster a deep understanding and appreciation for geography, encouraging students to explore and question the world around them.
